A new MPV on the market

The SEAT Alhambra is one of the most secure MPVs on the market alongside the Volkswagen Sharan and because of its attractive price it’s now breathing it’s older sibling in the neck. But what makes this MPV so attractive?
SEAT is Volkswagen owned which means that the Alhambra gives you Volkswagen quality for SEAT price. Exterior wise the Alhambra is a massive car and might not be one of the more exciting offerings to consumers but it seats seven and handles the way you would want a family-oriented MPV to handle. Engine wise you can choose from a 1.4-litre petrol engine a 2.0-litre diesel version.
Inside the car is very roomy and the second row of seats slides and folds for load space and when not needed folds away into the floor to produce a huge boot. Check you
The car also comes with the latest efficiency technology including stop-start and energy recovery during braking. The 1.4-litre petrol engine delivers around 35 mpg while the 2.0-litre 140bph diesel version apparently manages around 51.3 mpg.  Safety features are some of the best in the industry thanks to Volkswagen technology and the Alhambra comes with integrated booster cushions and pre-tension seatbelts. It also has a Park Steer Assistant feature to help you parallel park without getting bumps and scrapes.
Other cars to consider amongst MPVs are of course the Volkswagen Sharan but also the Toyota Verso, the Citroen C4 Picasso and the Mazda 5.
